Role Description

Shutter industry experience is essential.

This is a full-time, on-site Operations Manager role based in Wombourne. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the installation, service, and maintenance departments, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

The role includes managing operational teams, planning workloads, coordinating engineers and resources, liaising with customers and suppliers, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement across the business. You will work closely with other departments to ensure projects are delivered on time while maintaining excellent communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues to provide a first-class level of customer service. You will also be responsible for managing supplier relationships, coordinating material availability, promoting health and safety compliance, supporting staff development, and contributing to the ongoing growth and success of the business.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within the shutter, industrial door, or related industry is essential.
• Proven experience in an Operations Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Excellent operational planning, resource management, and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers, suppliers, engineers, and colleagues.
• Experience managing supplier relationships, procurement, and material scheduling.
• A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Good understanding of health and safety legislation and safe working practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant vocational training or qualifications in operations, management, or a related field are desirable.

Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
