As the manager of the the day to day running, you would play a very important role in the day to day operations of the Retreat, by overseeing all departments & should strive to maintain and motivate the entire team, and able to create a culture of care and service excellence among employees. In addition to this you will assist front of house with all hotel reservations and overseeing the customers journey from start to finish.

Knowledge & Skills

· Excellent understanding of the hospitality industry.

· Experience of managing/supervising a team.

· Experience of working in the hospitality industry.

· Experience of financial acumen

. A history of a customer facing roles, fully competent and confident in resolving complaints

· The ability and confidence to lead the team

· Sound decision making skills

· Exceptional organisational skills and ability to organise own work and priorities effectively.

· Computer literate and fully familiar with hospitality industry IT systems, software packages in general, databases and Microsoft Office Suite and reservation skills.

· Excellent spoken and written skills in the English language, including ability to produce correspondence and reports to a high standard.

· Able to solve problems and take appropriate decisions in the absence of the senior management and within permitted discretions.

· Able to work under pressure

Shift times - Monday to Sunday. Full Flexibility is required.

Early - 7am-4pm

Mid - 8-5pm

Late - 11.00am-8.00pm

Working at least 2 weekends per month - 1.5 weekends off minimum.

Access to a car and a driving licence required.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £18,007.08 per year

  • Hospitality: 1 year (required)
