About this role

About the company

At Fora, we’re re-imagining what the workplace can be.

We create inspiring, design‑led spaces that blend hospitality, community, and wellbeing - so people can work productively, creatively, and happily.

From our first London workspace over 20 years ago, we’ve grown to 60+ locations across the UK, supporting 30,000+ members and partnering with trailblazing brands like Ocado, The British Fashion Council, and Pangaia.

Backed by The Office Group, Blackstone, and Brockton Capital, we’re growing fast and pioneering conscious design, sustainable construction, and workspaces that empower people to work in their own unique way.

At Fora, we’re not just shaping workplaces, we’re shaping the future of work.

Why Fora?

We’re not a traditional workspace provider, you’ll be part of a business that genuinely cares about:

Creating exceptional spaces that people love to be in

Continuous improvement, not just maintenance

Sustainability, with a strong focus on energy and carbon reduction

People, with a collaborative, supportive culture

This is a pivotal role within our Facilities team. Working closely with the Technical Services Lead, you'll play a key role in the management of building services, statutory compliance, contractor performance, energy management and capital investment projects across our portfolio.

You'll provide technical expertise, support your team and lead initiatives that enhance the performance, sustainability and resilience of our buildings. This role also includes leading and developing Area Facilities Managers, ensuring consistent standards and best practice across the estate.

The ideal candidate will bring solid facilities management expertise, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across a diverse portfolio.

What you'll be doing

Partnering with the Technical Services Lead to deliver exceptional facilities management across our portfolio.

Managing and supporting Area Facilities Managers, helping to develop capability and drive high performance.

Acting as a key escalation point for complex building and operational issues, ensuring timely resolution.

Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance activities and contractor performance across multiple sites.

Leading energy management initiatives to improve efficiency and support our sustainability goals.

Managing facilities-related capital expenditure projects, from planning through to delivery.

Conducting audits, inspections and compliance reviews to ensure buildings meet both legal and company standards.

Supporting operational teams with technical expertise, guidance and effective communication during projects and critical incidents.

Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce risk and enhance the overall member experience.
