We're looking for a Risk & Regulatory Compliance Officer to join our Quality & Compliance Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who knows the education and care sector inside out and enjoys working collaboratively to navigate compliance, support services and strengthen quality across a growing national organisation.
If you're passionate about child safety, regulatory excellence and making a genuine impact, we'd love to hear from you.
Reporting to the National Quality & Compliance Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting TeamKids services to meet the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and Child Safe Standards.

- Respond to enquiries from Regulatory Authorities and other government agencies.
- Partner with Regional Managers and Operations teams to provide practical compliance advice.
- Support incident and complaint investigations, including communication with families and external agencies where required.
- Assist with Assessment & Rating preparation and quality improvement initiatives.
- Monitor changes to legislation, government policy and the National Quality Framework.
- Assess emerging regulatory risks and support implementation of new requirements across TeamKids.
- Maintain accurate compliance records, risk registers and documentation.
- Conduct service visits to support continuous improvement and regulatory readiness.
About you
You'll be someone who enjoys balancing attention to detail with practical problem solving. You build strong relationships, communicate confidently with a range of stakeholders and remain calm when managing complex or sensitive situations.
You'll also bring
- Minimum 3 years' experience within education and care services operating under the National Quality Framework.
- Experience managing an early childhood or OSHC service, or multiple services.
- Strong understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law, National Regulations and National Quality Framework.
- Experience participating in or leading Assessment & Rating processes.
- Knowledge of Child Safe Standards and child safeguarding practices across Victoria, NSW, Queensland and the ACT.
- Ability to interpret legislation and translate it into practical operational advice.
- A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (Diploma or Degree preferred).
- Current Working with Children Check (or equivalent) and ability to meet all TeamKids child safety requirements.
Experience working directly with Regulatory Authorities, NQA ITS and regulatory investigations will be highly regarded.
