Position: RTO Compliance Officer

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing student enrolments and course bookings
  • Processing training paperwork and student documentation
  • Maintaining accurate student records and databases
  • Updating and managing RTO Manager student management system
  • Managing AVETMISS data and reporting requirements
  • Coordinating trainers, assessors, classrooms, and course schedules
  • Answering phones and responding to email enquiries professionally
  • Preparing certificates, statements, and training documentation
  • Assisting with compliance and audit preparation activities
  • Conducting compliance checks on enrolments and student files
  • Reviewing training and assessment documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Monitoring trainer and assessor paperwork submissions
  • Maintaining compliance registers, records, and audit documentation
  • Supporting internal compliance monitoring and quality assurance processes
  • Liaising with students, employers, trainers, and corporate clients
  • Monitoring course attendance and training progression
  • Filing, scanning, printing, and general office administration
  • Supporting the day-to-day operations of the training organisation
  • Managing multiple administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience working within an RTO environment
  • Knowledge of ASQA, AVETMISS, and compliance requirements
  • Experience using RTO Manager or similar student management systems
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
