Cyber Security Assurance Lead

Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our central government client, who is seeking a Security Assurance Lead for an initial 6 assignments with the option to extend.

The ideal candidate will have an active security clearance and a strong background in Cyber Security Assurance within a high-threat government environment.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven expertise in project, program, and portfolio security assurance related to complex digital transformation initiatives.
  • Skilled in producing comprehensive GovAssure and Secure-By-Design Cyber Security Assurance assessments, including Risk Assessment Papers, Risk Treatment Plans, Risk Business Cases, and Security Management Plans.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with security architecture and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools
  • In-depth understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as the NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework, ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, alongside SABSA and TOGAF methodologies.
  • Solid track record in risk and threat modeling within high-threat government environments.
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GIAC are highly desirable
