IN SHORT As a Security Culture & Awareness Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of SEFE’s security culture and awareness programme, helping to build a security-conscious organisation where employees understand their role in protecting information and technology assets.

About this role

IN SHORT

As a Security Culture & Awareness Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of SEFE’s security culture and awareness programme, helping to build a security-conscious organisation where employees understand their role in protecting information and technology assets. Working closely with the CISO Office and security teams, you will drive behavioural change, deliver engaging communications, and ensure security awareness becomes an embedded part of everyday decision-making across the business.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • Define and deliver the organisation’s security culture and awareness strategy, roadmap, and objectives, ensuring alignment with business priorities and cyber security risks.
  • Develop and execute targeted awareness campaigns, training programmes, and engagement initiatives that promote positive security behaviours across diverse business audiences.
  • Own and coordinate security communications across multiple channels, including intranet, email, collaboration platforms, leadership briefings, town halls, and enterprise-wide events.
  • Design and deliver role-based awareness programmes for senior leaders, privileged users, and other high-risk groups, translating complex security risks into relevant and actionable guidance.
  • Establish metrics and reporting to measure awareness effectiveness, engagement, behavioural change, and overall security culture maturity, driving continuous improvement through insights and feedback.
  • Collaborate with Security Operations, Governance, Risk & Compliance, Business Resilience, Architecture, and project teams to ensure security messaging reflects real-world risks, incidents, regulatory requirements, and organisational change initiatives.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING

  • Proven experience leading security culture, awareness, behavioural change, internal communications, or engagement programmes within a complex organisation.
  • Strong ability to translate technical security topics into clear, compelling, and audience-focused messaging for employees, leaders, and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience designing and delivering awareness campaigns, learning programmes, events, leadership briefings, and engagement activities that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships across business, technology, and leadership communities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with a creative approach to communication and audience engagement.
  • Pragmatic, proactive, and outcome-focused mindset with an interest in cyber security, risk management, organisational culture, and continuous improvement.

You don’t need to meet every requirement. If the role excites you, we’d love to hear from you.
