Security Guard

About this role

*Role -*To provide access control, security patrols and CCTV operation at a large private Family property in order to ensure the family enjoys the highest quality (and secure) home life and domestic environment achievable.

Main Responsibilities & Routines.

Provision of residential security and Access Control to include:-

· Operate and monitor existing security systems (CCTV, Intruder Detection, Fire and Perimeter Security).

· Monitor, record and authorise arrivals and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons in order to ensure the security of the premises and Client.

· Assist Security Manager when required in managing residential event security for the family as required.

· Patrol premises and grounds to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of internal and external perimeter, buildings, doors, windows and gates.

· Respond to system alarms and incidents, liaison with Security and Facilities Manager and emergency services as and when required.

· Manage and assist in basic maintenance of security equipment systems in ensuring they remain serviced functional and fit for purpose. Liaison with equipment system technicians when on site.

· Liaison with the Security Manager, and the Client’s service team to confirm any key residential security and access control requirements.

· Work alongside other Security personnel and Security/Facilities manager as part of a team providing security coverage as required by the Client.

· Support Property Management and Maintenance issues at the property:

o Record defects and report them to the Security/Facilities Manager or Head of Client Services.

· Provision of emergency first aid in any circumstances for the Client.

· Liaise with Client’s staff, appointed contractors, house guests and colleagues to support the Client’s specific and wider security interests.

Experience Required

· SIA Door Supervisor License

· Good Communication

· Good verbal and written English

· Security experience in a similar role/ Corporate security

· Experience working for UHNW families would be an advantage

Pay: From £13.50 per hour
