Overview

Your protective security and threat assessment skills from policing transfer directly to managing close protection for high-net-worth principals.

About this role

Experience

  • Minimum 5-7 years of Close Protection experience supporting High-Net-Worth (HNW) or Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) individuals.
  • Demonstrated experience providing dedicated protection and lifestyle support to young principals attending school, university, or residing overseas is mandatory.
  • Proven track record of operating within family office, private family, or UHNW environments where discretion, trust, and relationship management are critical.
  • Experience balancing security requirements with the principal's desire for independence, privacy, and a normal social and academic lifestyle.
  • Extensive experience in planning, secure transportation, international travel accompaniment, and residential security management.
  • Previous responsibility for coordinating with educational institutions, residence management, household staff, chauffeurs, and external service providers is highly desirable.

Additional Key Requirement

The successful candidate must have previously held a comparable role supporting a young HNW/UHNW principal in an educational or family office environment and be able to demonstrate the ability to provide both unobtrusive protection and trusted day-to-day support.

Ideal Candidate Profile

A mature, highly discreet Close Protection Officer with prior experience safeguarding young HNW/UHNW family members studying away from their home country. The individual will possess the security expertise to identify and mitigate risks while maintaining a low-profile, relationship-driven approach that fosters trust, independence, and a positive educational experience for the Principal.
