Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Security Operations & Commercial Manager to lead our security initiatives and oversee the commercial aspects of our security services. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the safety and security of our facilities, personnel, and assets while managing vendor relationships, contracts, and service delivery. Your energetic approach will drive continuous improvement in security operations, foster strong partnerships, and uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance across all areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive security strategies to safeguard company assets, personnel, and information.
  • Manage surveillance systems, ensuring optimal coverage and functionality for real-time monitoring and incident investigation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless delivery of security services aligned with operational needs.
  • Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, surveillance findings, and operational activities to inform management decisions.
  • Conduct regular inspections of security procedures, facilities, and equipment to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
  • Lead emergency response efforts by coordinating with first responders and ensuring staff are trained in first aid procedures.
  • Oversee contractual agreements related to security services, ensuring compliance with legal standards and budget parameters.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in security operations management or a related field with a strong understanding of surveillance technologies.
  • Excellent report writing skills with the ability to document incidents clearly and accurately.
  • Knowledge of emergency procedures including first aid certification or experience providing first aid in critical situations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to analyze security data, identify patterns, and implement strategic solutions for ongoing safety improvements.
  • Exceptional communication skills to liaise confidently with internal teams, vendors, law enforcement, and emergency responders.
  • Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with CCTV systems, risk assessment methodologies, and familiarity with legal compliance related to security operations.
