*Shift Pattern -*Monday - Friday 50 hours a week, 10 hours a day, 0700-1700. possible weekend cover if cannot not find cover for blowouts.

Due to the continued growth of OCS, we are recruiting a Security Manager to oversee operations for a specific customer and site. This role is a key position, responsible for leading the security team, ensuring compliance with company and client requirements, and maintaining the highest standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the on-site security team, ensuring effective delivery of all security operations.
  • Oversee staff rotas, payroll queries, and the Timegate system.
  • Manage recruitment, agency cover, holidays, sickness, and staff welfare.
  • Conduct monthly 1-to-1s, team meetings, and training sessions.
  • Handle HR matters, compliance, and health & safety requirements.
  • Maintain SOPs, KPI reporting, and oversee fire system checks and evacuation drills.
  • Act as the main point of contact for tenants, the client, and the Operations Manager.

Key Hiring Criteria

  • Valid SIA Licence (MG required; DS and CCTV preferred).
  • IOSH qualification desirable.
  • Previous management/security industry experience (large site experience preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • IT proficiency (Microsoft Office; Timegate experience desirable).
  • Professional, reliable, and client-focused approach.
  • Full UK driving licence.
