Job Overview

We are seeking vigilant and professional Security Officers to safeguard premises, staff, visitors and assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance and effective security measures, and safeguarding techniques. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and quick decision-making are essential. The Security Officer will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and security of all people and property.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches.
  • Implement loss prevention strategies by identifying potential theft or vandalism risks.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, or emergencies, including providing first aid if necessary.
  • Maintain detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
  • Enforce site policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Liaise with law enforcement or emergency services when required, providing accurate information and assistance.
  • Assist visitors and staff with security-related queries in a professional manner.

Experience

  • Prior experience in security roles is preferred but not essential; comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with safeguarding methods and security protocols is desirable.
  • Certification in first aid is mandatory.
  • Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential qualities for success in this role.
