We are seeking vigilant and professional Security Officers to safeguard premises, staff, visitors and assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance and effective security measures, and safeguarding techniques. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by identifying potential theft or vandalism risks.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, or emergencies, including providing first aid if necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
- Enforce site policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Liaise with law enforcement or emergency services when required, providing accurate information and assistance.
- Assist visitors and staff with security-related queries in a professional manner.
Experience
- Prior experience in security roles is preferred but not essential; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Familiarity with safeguarding methods and security protocols is desirable.
- Certification in first aid is mandatory.
- Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential qualities for success in this role.
