Apex Risk Management provides professional security , steward and crowd management services across the UK, supporting a range of venues, events and clients.
We pride ourselves on maintaining high standards across our operations, from the recruitment and screening of our staff through to the delivery of our services on the ground.
As our operations in Liverpool continue to develop, we are looking to strengthen our existing team with experienced, reliable and professional SIA Door Supervisors and Event Stewards.
The Role
We are currently recruiting SIA Door Supervisors and Event Stewards to work across three exciting venues in Liverpool, with consistent work available for the right candidates.
Our Liverpool operations include a variety of live entertainment, music and nightlife environments, meaning no two shifts are the same.
We are looking for individuals who understand that working in security is about more than just holding an SIA licence. Our staff represent Apex Risk Management and our clients, so professionalism, reliability and the ability to communicate effectively are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a professional and approachable security presence across our Liverpool venues.
- Carry out access control, entry searches and other venue-specific security procedures.
- Monitor crowd behaviour and identify potential risks before they escalate.
- Manage challenging situations calmly and professionally.
- Support the safe movement of customers during entry, throughout events and at closing.
- Work closely with venue management, supervisors and colleauges.
- Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies, following company procedures.
- Maintain high standards of customer service while prioritising safety and security.
- Follow all Apex Risk Management policies, operational instructions and venue-specific briefings.
What We're Looking For
We are particularly interested in hearing from experienced Door Supervisors/Stewards who are confident working in busy, customer-facing environments.
Essential Requirements
- A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (if applying for SIA role)
- ACT awareness / security certificate (if not held, this will need to be completed before being allowed to work) - completed within the last six months.
- Previous experience working within the security/event industry, preferably in licensed premises, stadiums, nightlife or live entertainment venues.
- Excellent communication and conflict management skills.
- A professional appearance and attitude.
- Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and late-night shifts.
- A legal right to work in the UK, including permission to undertake the shifts offered.
- The ability to provide a full five-year employment, education and unemployment history for screening purposes.
Additional Requirements
- Two acceptable forms of identification.
- Two proofs of residential address dated within the last three months.
- Relevant First Aid qualifications.
- Willingness to complete all required recruitment and background checks.
