The Security Operations Manager supports the General Manager Security in maintaining a safe, secure, compliant, and customer-focused environment for Crown Perth.

The role is responsible for the effective day-to-day management of security operations, including workforce planning, rostering, overtime and leave management, performance management, and employee development.

The position ensures operational excellence, promotes a positive security culture, and leads teams to deliver high standards of safety, service, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage short- and medium-term security resourcing requirements in collaboration with the General Manager Security to meet operational demands.
  • Oversee the efficient and effective deployment of security resources, ensuring appropriate staffing levels, capability, and operational coverage at all times.
  • Ensure Security operations are conducted in accordance with all relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, organisational policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies, including regulators, law enforcement, and emergency services.
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop Shift Managers, Supervisors, and Senior Security Officers to build capability and support succession planning.
  • Develop and implement initiatives that enhance customer service outcomes while supporting security and operational objectives.

About you

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in an operational leadership or management role.
  • Experience within a security, law enforcement, emergency services, hospitality, gaming, or related operational environment is desirable.
  • Experience in emergency management, incident response, crisis management, or business continuity activities.
  • Demonstrated experience managing performance, employee relations, and workplace investigations.
  • Strong customer service focus with the ability to manage and resolve complex service issues while balancing operational and security requirements.
