About this role

Job Description

This is a Security Intelligence & Risk Advisor position focused on ensuring Heathrow's security decisions are informed by accurate intelligence, risk assessment, and strong partnership working. Working closely with internal stakeholders, policing partners, government agencies and industry counterparts, you will help develop Heathrow's security intelligence and investigations capability, ensuring that emerging threats are understood, assessed and appropriately managed. You will play a key role in supporting security governance through coordination of risk advisory forums and providing expert protective security advice to the wider business.

Your role will involve

  • Coordinate and provide secretariat support to the Risk Advisory Group and Airport Security Planning Framework & Support the development of Heathrow's Security Intelligence collection and investigations capability.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with security, law enforcement and policing partners to promote a shared understanding of threats impacting Heathrow.
  • Monitor and assess information relating to threat actors, organisations and methodologies to identify emerging risks and trends.
  • Ensure intelligence and threat information is analysed and disseminated effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Provide protective security advice and guidance to business stakeholders in partnership with the Security Risk Manager.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of security risk management processes and mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare briefings, reports and presentations for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
