The opportunity to join our team

Join our Risk Management team as a Senior Manager, Operational Risk Framework & Innovation and play a key role in shaping the future of Insignia Financial’s risk capability. You’ll have the opportunity to enhance and evolve our Risk Management Framework, driving innovation, automation and continuous improvement across the organisation. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll provide independent oversight, trusted advice and constructive challenge to strengthen risk practices and embed a proactive risk culture. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping build a fit-for-purpose framework that supports better outcomes for our clients, members and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and effectiveness of the Risk Management Framework, providing independent review and challenge across operational risk practices
• Drive improvements to risk frameworks, processes and controls through innovation, automation and continuous improvement
• Deliver second-line assurance reviews to assess the effectiveness of risk management practices
• Provide risk and compliance expertise to support business decisions, change initiatives and strategic priorities
• Contribute to risk reporting, insights and escalation of emerging risks and key trends
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to promote a proactive risk culture
• Support projects and initiatives by providing risk guidance and oversight
• Promote consistent application of risk and compliance obligations across Insignia Financial

What You Will Bring

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Law, Risk, Governance or a related discipline
• Extensive experience in risk, compliance and/or governance roles, ideally within financial services
• Strong understanding of operational risk frameworks, controls and risk management principles
• Experience providing second-line review, oversight and constructive challenge
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across a complex organisation
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
• Experience with continuous improvement, process optimisation and automation initiatives
