We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly motivated Site Security Manager to lead the delivery of security services. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing on-site security operations, developing and supporting security personnel, maintaining the highest standards of service delivery, and building strong relationships with our client to ensure a safe and secure environment.

We are seeking an experienced, professional, and motivated Site Security Manager to lead the delivery of security services at a prestigious site. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills, operational experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest security standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day security operation, leading the on-site security team, ensuring compliance with company procedures, and building strong relationships with both the client and internal management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operation of the site's security services.
  • Supervise, motivate, and monitor the performance of all site security officers.
  • Conduct monthly Quality Inspection Reports and Site Audits, reporting findings to the Operations Manager.
  • Identify training needs and support the ongoing development of all security personnel.
  • Carry out staff appraisals and performance reviews.
  • Ensure all site keys, security equipment, and documentation are properly managed and accounted for.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and personnel matters where required.
  • Report serious incidents and accidents involving security personnel to senior management.
  • Ensure all officers maintain high standards of appearance, professionalism, and customer service.
  • Conduct site risk assessments and implement appropriate control measures.
  • Manage major incidents and liaise with emergency services when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate site records and ensure all administration is completed correctly and on time.
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with the client and site management.
  • Support daily operations and assist the Scheduling Team with emergency shift cover when required.
  • Prepare operational reports, presentations, and management information.

Essential Requirements

  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
  • Valid CCTV Licence.
  • Previous experience managing security operations within a commercial, corporate, industrial, or public sector environment.
  • Experience in logistics (desirable).
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience conducting investigations, audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Strong report writing and administrative skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Good knowledge of health and safety legislation and security best practice.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Full UK Driving Licence (desirable depending on location).
