Overview

You already know how to structure an investigation, handle evidence and prepare case files for court — this apprenticeship builds directly on that foundation and adds counter-fraud specific qualifications. Your experience interviewing suspects and witnesses, managing disclosure obligations and writing statements under CPIA standards gives you a clear head start over most entry-level applicants. The role's focus on social housing fraud and anti-money laundering enquiries will feel like a natural extension of the financial-crime and tenancy fraud work you likely dealt with on response or CID.
