You will be working in the HS2 Main Works, the SCS Joint Venture with Costain and Strabag, our HS2 Main Works South team is delivering one of the UK’s most ambitious infrastructure projects - 26 miles of tunnels from London Euston to West Ruislip, along with viaducts, bridges and embankments that will connect communities for generations.

We are currently looking for a Business Continuity and Resilience Manager who will:

As The Business Continuity And Resilience Manager, You Will

Strategy & Continuity Planning

  • Design frameworks rooted in ISO 22301 principles
  • Execute BIAs across 28 functional business areas
  • Build continuity plans for critical core risks
  • Mitigate HILP risks across the project wide footprint

Testing, Training & Governance

  • Run simulations to test existing plan adequacy
  • Link BC risks directly to corporate risk registers
  • Deliver training to improve cross-company resilience awareness
  • Update procedures regularly based on post-exercise reviews
  • Audit compliance to evaluate asset protection protocols

Incident Response & Client Relations

  • Support Coordination of response efforts during live disruption incidents
  • Manage communication protocols utilised during active crises
  • Own HS2 reporting as the primary client SPOC
  • Present updates at monthly and quarterly client forums
  • Deliver data returns detailing SCS resilience capability metrics

We Are Looking For

  • Proven track record in Business Continuity or Risk Management
  • Subject matter expertise in crisis escalation and ISO 22301
  • Analytical ability to translate operational process into continuity plans
  • Major infrastructure experience handling high-impact risk profiles.
  • Accreditation experience achieving or maintaining ISO 22301
  • Professional credentials such as a BCI Certificate (CBCI)
