About us
Jewel Home Support is one of the largest independent providers of care and support for people living in Bolton and the surrounding areas of Lancashire. We support individuals to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes, offering care that is responsive, flexible, and centred around each person’s needs. When people look for care for themselves or their loved ones, they want reassurance that they are receiving the right care, at the right time, and at a fair cost. They also need clear communication and a service that makes arranging care as simple and stress-free as possible — sometimes at very short notice.
This is the approach we take at Jewel Home Support, and it has been fundamental to our success. Ours is a people-focused industry, and the way we deliver care truly matters. We look for staff with the right attitude and values, and we provide thorough training, close supervision, and ongoing support. Our guiding principle is simple: we deliver the same standard of care that we would expect for our own friends and family.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Care Coordinator & Compliance Officer to join Jewel Home Support’s Bolton branch. This is a varied role combining the day-to-day coordination of care services with compliance monitoring and quality assurance. You will play an important role in ensuring the smooth and effective delivery of care, supporting care staff, maintaining accurate records, and helping the service meet relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and company policies and procedures. You will be joining a supportive, reliable, and responsive team committed to delivering high-quality, personalised and dignified care. Working closely with colleagues, care staff, service users and their families, you will help ensure that services are well coordinated, standards are maintained, and the best possible outcomes are achieved.
Jewel Home Support is an approved provider for the NHS and Bolton Council, delivering services across Bolton, Greater Manchester, and Lancashire.
Key Responsibilities
The role includes, but is not limited to

- Supporting the review and maintenance of care plans, schedules and service user records.
- Responding to queries and concerns relating to care delivery and escalating issues where appropriate.
- Conducting regular audits of staff files, records and other relevant documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensuring records and documentation are accurate, up to date and maintained appropriately.
- Supporting compliance with CQC standards, relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Identifying compliance gaps, following up on outstanding actions and maintaining accurate audit records.
- Supporting quality assurance processes and contributing to service improvements.
- Assisting with the maintenance of staff employment records where required.
