The Opportunity

Daton is developing a strong operational team to support a range of assignments, including:

  • Close Protection and Executive Protection
  • VIP and high-net-worth client protection
  • Private events and luxury events
  • Hospitality and hotel security
  • Restaurant and nightlife security
  • Residential security
  • Corporate security
  • Security staffing and additional event cover
  • Venue security
  • Covert and discreet security operations
  • Security support for private clients and concierge companies
  • Short-term and longer-term security contracts

Assignments may range from single-operative deployments through to larger teams requiring experienced personnel and strong team coordination.

Close Protection Operatives

For Close Protection opportunities, we are looking for licensed CPOs who can demonstrate:

  • Professional Close Protection experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent situational awareness
  • Ability to conduct dynamic risk assessments
  • Understanding of advance work and operational planning
  • Professional client-facing manner
  • Ability to work discreetly around high-profile and high-net-worth individuals
  • Good teamwork and radio communication
  • A calm and measured approach to incidents

Additional relevant experience such as executive protection, residential security, surveillance, medical training, driving or international experience will be advantageous.

Event & Hospitality Security

We are also building a reliable team for premium events, hotels, restaurants, nightlife venues and private functions.

Experience in any of the following is advantageous

Essential Requirements

Applicants must

  • Hold the appropriate and valid SIA licence for the role
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
  • Be able to provide relevant identification and documentation
  • Be able to provide appropriate employment / work history where required
  • Have a professional attitude and strong work ethic
  • Be reliable and available for agreed assignments
  • Pass Daton’s onboarding and vetting requirements
  • Maintain appropriate standards throughout their engagement with Daton

Applicants for Close Protection positions must hold a valid SIA Close Protection licence.

Applicants for Door Supervisor / Security Guard roles must hold the appropriate SIA licence for the assignment.
