About this role
Our client is seeking a Compliance Consultant with strong experience providing advisory support within consumer credit products and services. This role is critical in guiding product, project, and business teams on regulatory obligations, product design, and customer propositions.
What you’ll do
- Provide compliance advisory support across consumer lending, credit cards, and broader consumer credit environments.
- Apply practical knowledge of NCCPA, ASIC Act, and Corporations Act to ensure regulatory integrity.
- Partner with product and project teams to embed compliance into design and rollout initiatives.
- Assess regulatory incidents, breaches, and reportable situations, and manage correspondence with regulators.
- Influence senior stakeholders and business leaders to balance compliance with commercial outcomes.
What we’re looking for
- Direct experience advising on consumer credit or credit card products.
- Demonstrated application of NCCPA, ASIC Act, and Corporations Act requirements.
- Proven track record in compliance advisory for product, project, and change initiatives.
- Experience in breach management, incident assessments, and regulatory reporting.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Please note: This is not a technical role. We are seeking a compliance consultant who has a background of credit risk.
