Are you detail-oriented, organised, and confident in administration? We're looking for a proactive Compliance Officer to join our Compliance team at Residential Management Group (RMG). This role concentrates on Building Safety

Where will I be working?

You will be based at our offices in Northwich, CW9 7LN.

As a Compliance Officer, you will

  • Handle the administration of regulatory legal instructions and update internal databases, including the Building Management System, Compliance Database, and Salesforce.
  • Monitor supplier performance against SLAs, ensuring timely receipt, review, and upload of reports.
  • Respond to internal and external compliance queries with clarity and professionalism, providing advice and solutions.
  • Support the resolution of non-compliance issues to reduce risk to the company and clients.
  • Identify and escalate risks to performance against compliance requirements.
  • Follow company processes, procedures, and policies at all times.
  • Undertake additional duties appropriate to the role as required.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage compliance activities, deadlines and data accurately.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with experience handling enquiries from customers, contractors and internal stakeholders professionally and effectively
  • Confident use of Microsoft Word and Outlook; basic to intermediate Excel skills.
  • Ability to make decisions independently and collaboratively.
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).

Desirable

  • Experience within residential property management or housing, particularly in relation to statutory compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of compliance disciplines including Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs), Fire Safety Regulations (England) 2022, LOLER, Water Risk Assessments and EICRs.
  • Experience using compliance management and CRM systems, such as Salesforce, Building Management Systems or similar compliance databases.
