The Role

The Right Fit For Risk (RFFR) team is collaborative, supportive and highly engaged. We work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including third-party service providers, IT professionals and program areas to deliver accurate, high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced and friendly environment.

Your role is to conduct cyber security assurance assessments of third-party employment and skills service provider IT environments and requires attention to detail, professionalism, clear communication and a positive, solutions focused mindset.

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to an EL1 cyber security assessor, the APS6 cyber security assessor is responsible for:

  • Performing cyber security assurance assessments of third-party employment and skills service provider IT environments.
  • Reporting assurance assessment outcomes to senior executives and relevant program areas.
  • Providing cyber security assurance guidance and direction to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working collaboratively with other RFFR team members to drive continual improvements to assessment processes and culture, and
  • Undertake additional responsibilities or tasks as required.

Qualifications and Education

  • Minimum 2 years in a cyber security role (Governance, Risk and Compliance, technical analyst, or similar) OR
  • Minimum 4 years in an IT administration role (or similar).
