As an Engineer – OT Cyber Security, you'll help secure the Operational Technology (OT) environments that support Origin's critical energy infrastructure. Working closely with cyber security, infrastructure and OT engineering teams, you'll design, implement and continuously improve secure solutions that keep our operational systems resilient, compliant and available.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement cyber security controls across OT infrastructure, Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
  • Partner with OT, infrastructure and cyber security teams to deliver secure-by-design solutions across the full technology lifecycle.
  • Strengthen identity, authentication and privileged access controls to reduce cyber risk across operational environments.
  • Support cyber incident response, vulnerability management and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to audit, regulatory compliance and the ongoing uplift of Origin's OT cyber security capability.

What You'll Bring

  • Demonstrated experience securing Operational Technology, industrial control systems or critical infrastructure environments.
  • Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy and identity and access management.
  • Experience implementing role-based access, least-privilege principles and privileged account management.
  • Knowledge of OT cyber security frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIST or Essential Eight.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering and operational teams to deliver practical security outcomes.
