Our operations network, known for its speed, accuracy, and exceptional service, delivers millions of packages to Amazon customers every day. To keep our operations network secure and ensure operational continuity, we are looking for an experienced professional to join our team as Investigations Program Expert. In this key role, you will provide investigations as a service across our Worldwide Operations Security (WWOS) organization through the design, development, and execution of complex investigative strategies, frameworks, and programs that support regional investigative teams and field personnel globally. Operating at a global scale with significant ambiguity, you will translate strategic intent into operational reality - building the systems, standards, and tools that enable the investigations function to operate effectively at scale.

Key job responsibilities

• Develop and implement investigative strategies, frameworks, and programs across theft and fraud workstreams at a global scale, working within established strategic direction
• Support end-to-end program delivery, including design, implementation, measurement, and iteration
• Translate Amazon Security Policies into scalable, real-world investigative applications that address known and emerging risks
• Conduct analytical deep dives to identify root causes of risk and support the resolution of major incidents and systemic vulnerabilities
• Partner with regional investigative teams and cross-functional stakeholders to implement, measure, and refine investigative programs
• Manage program metrics, adoption, and compliance; compile data-driven recommendations for senior leadership review
• Coordinate with stakeholders across WWOS to align on deliverables, timelines, and performance outcomes
• Make sound, data-informed decisions in a fast-moving global environment where priorities shift
• Travel domestically and internationally to support regional teams, program launches, and business units

About The Team

Working in partnership with our stakeholders, Security and Loss Prevention secures the Amazon supply chain end-to-end and promotes security during business conversations. The Investigations team is a support function to Security and Loss Prevention Field Operations, responsible for the management, development, and conclusion of investigative activity. Our team provides support, guidance, and direction on a broad range of investigative issues — from theft of inventory and workplace incidents to complex, sophisticated fraud involving multiple bad actors, stakeholders, and marketplaces.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
• Experience defining and executing program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
• Experience in security services, asset protection, loss prevention, risk management, inventory management, investigations, supply chain, auditing, compliance, or similar
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Experience with data analysis and using metrics to drive program improvements
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Relevant degree or degree equivalent in a security-related, business, or program management field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in security service, loss prevention, asset protection, audit, investigations, law enforcement, risk management, data analytics, inventory control, quality assurance or a related field
• Experience in risk management and internal audit including: performing risk assessments and audits, designing controls, managing enterprise control frameworks, and prioritizing risk
• Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results, or experience communicating results to senior leadership
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
