KYC/AML Analyst – Asset Management (UK)

Job Summary
We are seeking a KYC/AML Analyst to support client onboarding and periodic review activities for a leading financial services organization. The role involves performing KYC, CDD, and EDD reviews, conducting PEP, sanctions, and adverse media screening, verifying client information and UBOs, and ensuring compliance with UK AML regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a collaborative approach to supporting compliance and onboarding process.
Responsibilities
- Perform KYC, CDD, and EDD for client onboarding and periodic reviews.
- Verify client information, ownership structures, and Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs).
- Conduct PEP, sanctions, and adverse media screening.
- Assess customer risk and ensure compliance with UK AML regulations and internal policies.
- Escalate high-risk cases and maintain accurate KYC documentation.
Collaborate with Compliance, Operations, Legal, and Front Office teams to support onboarding and remediation activities.
- Eligibility Requirements
- Relevant years of KYC/AML experience in Asset Management, Investment Management, or Financial Services.
- Good understanding of UK AML regulations, CDD/EDD, sanctions, and financial crime controls.
- Experience with KYC tools such as Fenergo, Lexis-Nexis, or Dow Jones is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
