Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Gymnastics Coach and Site Manager to inspire athletes, oversee daily operations, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for all participants. This pivotal role combines expert coaching with effective site management, fostering a vibrant community focused on skill development, teamwork, and personal growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong sports coaching experience, excellent teaching skills, and a passion for nurturing talent in a dynamic setting. As a leader on our team, you will motivate athletes to reach their full potential while managing the logistical and operational aspects of the gymnastics facility.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver high-quality gymnastics coaching sessions tailored to athletes of various ages and skill levels, ensuring a positive and motivating atmosphere.
- Manage daily site operations, including scheduling classes, maintaining equipment safety standards, and ensuring cleanliness and organization of the facility.
- Supervise staff and assistant coaches, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback to foster professional development.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and emergency procedures to create a secure environment for all participants.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and stakeholders regarding athlete progress, upcoming events, and program updates.
- Oversee registration processes, attendance records, and program logistics to maintain smooth operations.
Skills
- Proven sports coaching experience with a focus on gymnastics or similar disciplines.
- Strong teaching abilities that inspire confidence and motivate learners of all ages.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with athletes, parents, staff, and community partners.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to manage staff effectively while fostering teamwork.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to gymnastics equipment and facility management.
- Organizational skills to handle scheduling, record keeping, and operational tasks efficiently.
