What You'll be Doing

SpeakUp Hotline Operations

  • Own the day-to-day running of the Nscale SpeakUp hotline and the case management platform, including configuration, intake channels and language coverage, user access,
  • triage and communications.
  • Manage the relationship with the platform provider, acting as the main contact, managing contract obligations and conditions, renewals and budget, and holding the provider to agreed service levels.
  • Run regular service reviews with the provider, escalate and resolve issues, and work with internal teams when necessary.

Investigations and Case Management

  • Lead Compliance-owned investigations and coordinate those led by other teams.
  • Prepare investigation plans, run interviews with reporters, witnesses and subjects, gather and analyse evidence, and write investigation outcome reports and recommendations.
  • Work under the direction of Legal to preserve privilege, apply local-law requirements and manage outside counsel or forensic consultants within budget.
  • Escalate matters without delay, when required.

Data, Reporting and Insights

  • Set and enforce case data standards in the platform and run regular quality checks so the case record is complete, consistent and accurate.
  • Own user access and permissions, audit trails, confidentiality controls and retention rules, and work with Information Security and Data Privacy so the system stays secure and audit-ready.
  • Refine programme metrics and maintain dashboards leadership can use on demand.
  • Produce SpeakUp reports, covering key metrics, with figures reconciled to the system before release.
  • Spot emerging risks, hotspots and patterns by team, region or issue type, and raise them before they grow.
  • Turn case outcomes into lessons learned, share anonymised case studies and themes with the business, and feed insights into policy updates, training and control improvements.
  • Improve case categorisation and data quality so trends in culture and controls are visible early.

Programme Development

  • Maintain and improve internal procedures, standards, templates and toolkits.
  • Ensure investigators are trained and fully equipped to conduct the cases under Nscale standards.
  • Design and implement SpeakUp awareness campaigns.
  • Track whistleblowing law changes and adapt the channel for new jurisdictions.

About You

  • 8-10 years of experience in investigations, compliance or legal roles, with a track record of leading compliance investigations end-to-end.
  • Hands-on experience running or supporting a whistleblowing or ethics hotline, including triage, case management and reporting to senior leadership and committees.
  • Strong interviewing skills and sound knowledge of evidence handling, confidentiality and fair-process principles.
  • Working knowledge of whistleblowing, data protection and employment law considerations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Excellent report writing: clear, fact-based findings that stand up to Legal, Audit Committee and regulator scrutiny.
  • Sound judgement, discretion and the ability to handle highly sensitive matters with empathy and impartiality.

Preferred

  • Legal qualification (admitted lawyer) or investigations background from Big 4 forensics, a law firm or an in-house compliance team.
  • Experience with case management platforms.
  • Experience in a high-growth tech or infrastructure business, including setting up hotline processes in new countries.
  • Additional language skills.
