More about Us

The National Vehicle Crime Intelligence Service (NaVCIS) is a national police unit, hosted by Hampshire Constabulary but based near Coventry. We work closely with partner agencies across law enforcement and the private sector to better understand and mitigate the threats posed by vehicle theft and fraud.

Motor finance fraud and associated offences impact upon victims and communities, the national economy and demands placed upon law enforcement agencies. Through effective partnership working NaVCIS seeks to prevent offences of motor finance fraud by our subject matter experts investigating, developing and sharing specialist intelligence to support law enforcement investigations to prevent crime and disrupt organised criminality.

The successful applicant will support the senior leadership team in protecting the UK from vehicle finance fraud, providing assistance to colleagues in the NaVCIS Investigation Team.

The role holder may be required to visit various locations throughout the UK; this may also require overnight stays and therefore needs to have the ability to travel as necessary.

There may be a requirement to work unsocial hours occasionally to respond to operational demands for which the appropriate recompense will be paid.
