About this role

A leading global consultancy is looking to hire an Operational Resilience Consultant to join its growing Financial Services practice.

Working with leading banks and insurers, you'll help clients design, implement and embed Operational Resilience frameworks, ensuring compliance with FCA and PRA regulations while strengthening enterprise resilience.

The role will focus on delivering Operational Resilience programmes, including Important Business Services (IBS), Impact Tolerances, end-to-end service mapping, scenario testing and resilience maturity assessments. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders to embed resilience across governance, operational risk, business continuity and third-party risk.

This role is offering a base salary of £63,000 + bonus, alongside hybrid working, with 3-4 days per week split between client sites in the City of London, the consultancy's office and home.

Experience required

  • 6+ years' experience in Operational Resilience, Operational Risk or Business Continuity within Financial Services
  • Strong experience delivering FCA/PRA Operational Resilience programmes
  • Hands-on experience with Important Business Services (IBS), Impact Tolerances, service mapping and scenario testing
  • Experience working with UK regulated banks, insurers or other Financial Services organisations
  • Good understanding of Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Third-Party Risk Management
  • Previous consulting experience or experience working with senior client stakeholders
  • Insurance experience would be highly desirable
  • Knowledge of DORA would be beneficial
