Flixora is a UK-based movie distribution and streaming platform built for original films and filmmakers. We help producers distribute their movies internationally, reach new audiences and create opportunities to monetise their content while retaining ownership of their intellectual property.

As we expand internationally, maintaining high standards of content quality, copyright compliance, producer verification and regulatory integrity is central to our growth.

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Quality & Compliance Officer to help protect the integrity of the Flixora platform and ensure that filmmakers and their content meet our required standards.

The Role

The Quality & Compliance Officer will be responsible for reviewing producer applications, verifying submitted content and documentation, monitoring compliance with Flixora's filmmaker policies, and supporting the safe and lawful distribution of movies across approved territories.

You will play an important role in ensuring that only legitimate, properly documented and technically suitable content enters the Flixora ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities Producer Verification

  • Review applications for the Flixora Producers Partnership (FPP).
  • Verify filmmakers' professional, academic or industry backgrounds.
  • Review evidence of filmmaking history and previous productions.
  • Verify social media and professional presence where required.
  • Identify inconsistencies, suspicious applications or potentially fraudulent information.
  • Maintain accurate producer verification records.

Copyright & Intellectual Property Verification

  • Review evidence of ownership and distribution rights.
  • Assess submitted scripts, production documentation and behind-the-scenes (BTS) materials as part of Flixora's verification process.
  • Identify potential copyright infringement or unauthorised content.
  • Review territorial distribution rights where applicable.
  • Escalate potential intellectual-property disputes for further investigation.

Distribution Compliance

  • Verify that producers have the appropriate rights for the countries they select.
  • Monitor compliance with territorial distribution requirements.
  • Ensure content complies with applicable platform policies and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Review whether movies have existing cinema, streaming or distribution arrangements that may conflict with Flixora's applicable exclusivity requirements.

Monitoring & Enforcement

  • Monitor producers and uploaded content for policy violations.
  • Investigate reports of copyright infringement, fraudulent activity or content violations.
  • Support enforcement actions, including content removal, account suspension and escalation where appropriate.
  • Maintain detailed records of compliance decisions and investigations.

Reporting

  • Prepare regular quality and compliance reports.
  • Identify recurring risks and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain internal compliance documentation and audit trails.
  • Work closely with Operations, Product, Legal and Management teams.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with

  • Experience in content quality, compliance, film/TV production, media operations, copyright, digital platforms or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of intellectual property and content-rights principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills.
  • Ability to identify inconsistencies and potential risks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make evidence-based decisions.
  • High levels of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
