About this role

Job Description

Working Monday to Wednesday - No remote working

River Manufacturing Ltd a specialised injection moulding company providing products to wide diverse markets, including veterinary and air freshners. We are now seeking a highly motivated Regulatory & Quality Officer to join our team. This position will be responsible for ensuring that the company are compliant in all aspects of their manufacturing processes. This will include the following duties:

1: Determine applicable regulations relating to the products including chemicals and materials used in the manufacturing of the products ( i.e., GMP, REACH, MSDS- etc).

2: Devise action plans and strategies to achieve compliances with the applicable regulations as mentioned in the point 1 above.

3: Continuously monitor changes and updates in regulations and ensure that compliance is implemented in a timely manner.

4; Conduct audits to assess compliance with ISO 9001 QMS and GMP and any other area as required.

5: Devise and agree action plans with the relevant managers to address any non- compliances discovered during the audits.

6: Analyse current standard operating procedures, documents, and practices with a view to achieve continuous improvement.

7: Revision of existing procedures and to write additional procedures to address any deficiencies discovered by the external auditors.

8: Communication with the regulatory bodies and other interested parties as and when required.

Skills & Experience required

Good experience of ISO 9001:2015. & GMP.

Knowledge of REACH.

Ability to write and update Material Safety Data Sheets.

A detailed understanding of Auditing processes.

Experience of writing clear procedures.

Ability to communicate with all levels both internally and externally.

Qualifications

A Chemistry Degree would be advantageous but not essential.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing compliance.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems in a creative manner.

Ability to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
