Are you an experienced regulatory or compliance professional with a background in the UK energy sector? Do you enjoy influencing change, interpreting complex regulations and working with senior stakeholders? If so, we'd love to hear from you.

We're recruiting for a Regulations & Compliance Manager to join a growing and innovative UK energy business. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance while helping shape the organisation's response to industry change.

The Role

You'll be responsible for managing regulatory compliance across the business, maintaining strong relationships with industry bodies and ensuring new regulatory and code changes are successfully implemented. Working closely with senior leaders, you'll provide expert guidance, manage audits, oversee compliance activities and help identify opportunities arising from regulatory developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead engagement with regulators, code bodies and government agencies.
  • Manage the implementation of regulatory and industry code changes.
  • Monitor regulatory risk and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate responses to consultations and external information requests.
  • Support internal and external audits and compliance activities.
  • Support ISO management systems and ongoing certification.
  • Produce reports, presentations and regulatory updates for senior stakeholders.

About You

You'll have

  • Experience within the UK energy supply industry.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and governance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing audits, compliance programmes or regulatory projects.
  • Confidence presenting to senior audiences and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
