About this role

Network Security Consultant | Melbourne or Sydney | Up to $180,000 base salary + super & bonus

Join a global leader in network and cloud security policy management, trusted by 2,200+ of the world's leading organisations to secure their most critical workloads across public cloud, private cloud, containers, and on-premises networks.

We're hiring a Network Security Consultant to work directly with enterprise customers across ANZ and SEA, acting as a trusted technical advisor on our security platform. This is a highly customer-facing role, you'll be the face of the product for your accounts, not sitting behind a ticket queue.

What you'll do

  • Monitor, operate, and maintain customer environments - troubleshooting, upgrade planning, and knowledge transfer on key parts of the platform
  • Perform product customisations and consult customers on best practice, positioning yourself as their trusted advisor
  • Work in close integration with Sales, Delivery, Support, Customer Success, and R&D teams
  • Act as the eyes and ears on the ground - monitoring shifts in customer technical landscape, org structure, and priorities, and feeding key insights back internally
  • Identify and escalate revenue-driving adoption or expansion opportunities

What you'll bring

  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role within a software company
  • Exposure to Linux or Unix environments
  • Experience with networking devices (switches, routers)
  • Firewall administration and configuration experience (Checkpoint, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar)
  • Experience working with cloud platforms and managing cloud security
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Comfortable operating under pressure in deadline-driven, business-critical situations
  • Experience working with global enterprise customers
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for on-site customer work across ANZ/SEA
