What this opportunity involves

As a Technical Facilities Manager at JLL, you'll play a vital technical leadership role in ensuring our clients' workplaces function seamlessly every single day. This position is proactive by nature, focused on the engineering and operational details that keep buildings running safely and efficiently while delivering exceptional experiences for occupants and guests. You'll oversee the execution of day-to-day technical requirements, working closely with the Workplace team and vendor partners to maintain compliance with standard operating procedures and service level agreements. An overview of the role

Assist with major works including power-down planning, execution, and project management for new construction and refurbishment initiatives

Oversee daily preventive maintenance of all building equipment and assume full Engineering Manager responsibilities during their absence

Monitor daily log books and utility consumption records while maintaining accurate equipment history, inventories, and comprehensive reports

Coordinate with external vendors and agencies for repair and maintenance work, administering quality assurance for all outsourced critical works

Inspect equipment and engineering systems at regular intervals to ensure operational standards are maintained and quality of procured goods meets specifications

Provide 24/7 on-call incident management support for corporate real estate buildings and Colocation Data Centers, responding promptly to emergencies

Escalate operational problems to the Engineering Manager and keep them informed of all departmental activities, incidents, and performance metrics

Produce and manage Method of Procedures (MOPs) and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs) for compliance

Submit technical reports for portfolio objectives, regular meetings, and Data Center performance metrics to support continuous improvement

Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline

Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering management experience or Senior Facilities Management experience

Thorough understanding of building services design and engineering management principles

Strong analytical, organizational, and administrative skills with attention to detail

Ability to identify and implement opportunities for operational efficiency and process improvements

Proven capability to drive innovation, thought leadership, and apply industry knowledge to real-world challenges

Experience working in the Asia Pacific region, specifically Australia, is highly desirable

Familiarity with corporate real estate environments and Data Center operations is preferred

Track record of successfully managing vendor relationships and quality assurance programs is advantageous
