My client, an elite global law firm, is actively looking for someone with a minimum of 12 months experience to join them on a permanent basis in London - working as their new AML & Compliance Assistant.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading law firm, being part of their AML team that is headquartered in London. You'll be part of an experienced and professional team, with a wide range of responsibility.

As the successful AML & Compliance Assistant, you'll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

  • Performing due diligence on clients and third-party payors
  • Identifying and escalating potential red flags and high-risk matters
  • Performing client research
  • Regularly liaising with Fee-Earners and senior stakeholders
  • Performing follow ups on ongoing AML files
  • Performing sanctions, PEPs and adverse press searches on a regular basis

Plus much more.

To be considered for this new opportunity, you'll need to have/be the following

  • Have a minimum of 12 months experience in Legal AML/Compliance from a US/international law firm (essential)
  • Have up-to-date knowledge of relevant AML legislation
  • Be able to commute to the London office on a regular basis
  • Have strong research based skills and experience using Risk & Compliance related search function/databases
