Inviting applications for the role of Manager, Agile Business Analyst in KYC-CTB!

In this role, The Agile Business Analyst (KYC – CTB) plays a key role in driving regulatory and transformation initiatives across client onboarding, KYC, and screening processes by leveraging Agile methodologies. The role involves collaborating with business, technology, and compliance stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into user stories, manage and prioritize product backlogs, and support end-to-end delivery through UAT coordination, defect management, and testing oversight. The analyst ensures alignment with regulatory requirements while improving processes and operational efficiency, and is expected to demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills along with solid expertise in KYC/AML within a fast-paced financial services environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work with product owners to groom product feature backlog items
  • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
  • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
  • Develop and communicate testing approach and present plans to stakeholders
  • Coordinate with release management team on test cycle schedule and testing readiness
  • Analyse and create test scenarios/scripts for user acceptance and regression testing based on functional specifications and business requirements
  • Lead user acceptance testers in test preparation, planning and execution efforts
  • Assist testers in documentation of test results and ensure the test requirements are met
  • Identify project risks and defects and develop mitigation plans and workarounds as necessary
  • Assist in backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of user stories
  • Coordinate with technology partners to resolve defects to ensure proper implementation Work with product owners to groom product feature backlog items
  • Update and maintain inventory of test scripts developed for each project release and regression testing to ensure alignment with the current system functionality
  • Partner with technology to develop automated tests

  • Escalate issues and risks to management as required

  • Participate in post-release validation activities.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

  • Have 4+ years professional experience at a large financial institution
  • Have a 4 year college degree with outstanding academic credentials
  • Have previous experience with UAT and regression testing
  • Have a knowledge of testing life cycle
  • Experience in Agile Scrum Development
  • Experience of program co-ordination/administration
  • Experience of managing projects, or exposure to the end to ended-to-end project lifecycle, or managing substantial parts of the project lifecycle
  • Experience of working within a structured project management framework
  • Knowledge of project management tools and techniques
  • Subject Matter experience in Client and Party Reference Data management and, including:
  • • KYC (Know-your-Client) and AML processes, regulations and technology
  • Client Onboarding Workflow
  • Negative News, Politically Exposed Persons, OFAC/Sanctions screening toolsets and methodologies
  • Financial services regulatory environment, including but not limited to KYC, MIFID, EMIR, Dodd Frank and other regulations that impact traded markets and investment banking businesses
  • Capital markets products and services
  • Derivatives.
