Meet the Team

The Compliance Department at Millennium is responsible for adopting, implementing and enforcing a compliance program designed to help prevent and detect violations of applicable laws, rules, regulatory requirements and firm policies. Within that broader framework, the Externals Advisory team in EMEA supports the governance and oversight of external manager relationships, partnering closely with colleagues across Compliance, Legal, Risk and Operations in a highly collaborative, globally connected environment.

What You'll Do

  • Provide primary Compliance advisory coverage to the Externals Advisory team across EMEA, supporting due diligence, onboarding and ongoing oversight of external managers.
  • Review due diligence frameworks, questionnaires, oversight controls and monitoring reports to help ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policy standards.
  • Monitor and interpret relevant regulatory developments, including SEC, CFTC, NFA, FCA and other applicable global requirements, and assess their impact on Externals Advisory activities, policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a trusted, hands-on advisor on day-to-day regulatory and control matters affecting the Externals Advisory platform.
  • Lead or contribute to working groups and strategic initiatives that strengthen the control framework for external managers and third-party relationships.
  • Draft, maintain and help implement Compliance policies, procedures and guidance specific to Externals Advisory activities.
  • Partner closely with global Compliance colleagues, Legal, Risk, Operations and senior business stakeholders to support effective issue resolution and consistent governance.
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy, taking ownership of key advisory matters and escalating issues with sound judgment when appropriate.

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of Compliance experience.
  • Strong regulatory knowledge across global markets.
  • Demonstrated experience advising senior business stakeholders and managing complex matters independently with sound judgment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of relevant rules, regulations, compliance processes and control frameworks.
  • Strong attention to detail, accountability and a clear sense of ownership.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage competing deadlines in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, practical guidance to senior management and front-line teams.
  • Collaborative approach and a strong willingness to share knowledge and support colleagues across regions and functions.
