Overview

Your experience working to strict regulatory frameworks like PACE, CPIA, and RIPA gives you a strong foundation in compliance discipline and policy adherence. The role requires advising senior management on regulatory obligations, maintaining risk registers, and drafting policies—all tasks that map directly to the investigative and procedural rigour you developed in policing. However, the specific requirement for 3+ years in fintech or financial services compliance may mean you need to demonstrate how your regulatory experience transfers, or you may need to upskill in areas like AML and FCA ru
