We are a Claims Management Organisation providing full 24-hour FNOL & Claims Assistance to Insurance Brokers and Insurers all over the UK. Formed through years of motor claims experience, we provide a fresh look at motor claims to deliver the best customer journey in the event of a claim. We specialise in credit hire, credit repair, and innovative mobility solutions within our extensive repair network and hire provisions. We offer a bespoke service which is delivered every time, to ensure a far superior process and client satisfaction.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused Compliance Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will support the business in maintaining high standards of regulatory and operational compliance, ensuring that policies, procedures and processes are followed and kept up to date.

Previous compliance experience is desirable

Main responsibilities

Compliance Monitoring & Auditing

· Carry out regular compliance checks, audits and file reviews.

· Identify, investigate and report compliance issues or breaches.

· Support due diligence and external compliance reviews.

· Track and complete actions arising from audits.

Regulatory Compliance

· Keep up to date with relevant legislation, FCA requirements and Consumer Duty.

· Monitor regulatory changes and communicate updates to management.

· Maintain evidence of compliance.

Policies & Procedures

· Review and maintain company policies and procedures.

· Identify and recommend process improvements.

· Support colleagues with compliance queries and ensure policies are followed.

Risk Management

· Identify and monitor compliance risks.

· Maintain risk and compliance registers.

· Escalate concerns and support actions to reduce risk.

Complaints & Investigations

· Support the investigation of complaints and compliance issues.

· Identify root causes and recommend improvements.

· Record and monitor actions arising from investigations.

Training & Awareness

· Support compliance training and guidance for employees.

· Maintain training and compliance records.

· Promote a strong compliance culture across the business.

General Responsibilities

· Maintain accurate and confidential compliance records.

· Prepare compliance reports for management.

· Work closely with HR, Operations and senior management.

· Support ad-hoc compliance projects and regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidate

· Previous experience in a compliance, audit, risk, legal or regulated environment.

· Knowledge or experience of motor claims, accident management, motor insurance or the wider motor industry would be highly advantageous.

· Experience working within financial services, claims management, insurance or a similar regulated industry.

· Knowledge of FCA regulations and Consumer Duty.

· Experience carrying out audits or compliance monitoring.

· Experience maintaining policies, procedures and compliance records.
