π About the Role
Weβre looking for a detail-oriented Compliance Reporting Specialist to join our Risk & Compliance team at Hampshire Trust Bank.
This role is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to how conduct and compliance risks are identified, monitored and escalated within a regulated financial services environment. You'll play a key role in coordinating, analysing and enhancing compliance management information (MI) and reporting, helping to provide valuable insight to senior stakeholders and governance committees.
You'll also support the bankβs drive to leverage AI and automation technologies to improve reporting efficiency, accessibility and insight across the Compliance function.
πΌ Key Responsibilities
Conduct Risk Data, MI & Reporting
- Own the capture, validation and maintenance of conduct risk data, key risk indicators (KRIs) and compliance management information
- Produce and analyse monthly compliance and conduct risk reporting, identifying trends, emerging risks and key themes
- Support the development and enhancement of MI frameworks, dashboards and reporting outputs
- Maintain structured and auditable records of conduct risk issues, actions and management responses
- Help establish robust data standards, reporting definitions and governance processes
AI, Automation & Reporting Improvement
- Support the design and implementation of AI-powered reporting solutions within the bank's SharePoint environment
- Identify opportunities to automate data collection, validation and reporting processes
- Help improve reporting quality, accessibility and operational efficiency
- Contribute to the development of more forward-looking and insightful compliance reporting
Governance & Committee Reporting
- Support the production of high-quality Conduct, Compliance & Operational Risk Committee (CORC) packs
- Coordinate the collection and submission of committee papers, MI and supporting materials
- Track actions and ensure governance deadlines are met
- Escalate delays or missing inputs where required
Compliance Administration & Policy Support
- Provide administrative support to the Compliance Monitoring team
- Maintain document management and record-keeping processes
- Support compliance training coordination and completion tracking
- Assist with policy management, version control, review schedules and publication activities

Qualifications & Experience
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience working with management information, reports and data analysis
Desirable Experience
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI and PowerApps
- Exposure to financial services, compliance, risk or governance environments
- Understanding of Conduct Risk, Consumer Duty or regulatory governance
- Experience supporting committees, reporting cycles or MI production
Skills & Attributes
- Highly organised and comfortable managing information, deadlines and dependencies
- Strong stakeholder management skills with confidence to chase and coordinate inputs
