Are you an experienced investigator or developing in this space and looking to grow your capability in workplace investigations? Deloitte is recruiting an Employee Relations Workplace Investigator to join our expanding ER and WHS team. This role offers the chance to work across firm-wide investigations, build specialist expertise with strong support, and contribute to national ER strategy and practice.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Lead and manage workplace investigations across the organisation from intake to final report, ensuring thoroughness, fairness and timeliness.
  • Support a broad portfolio of ER and WHS investigations and apply consistent, best practice investigative methods.
  • Prepare concise, strategic investigation reports and recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Conduct interviews and evidence gathering with empathy, neutrality and strict confidentiality.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with Talent Directors, coaches and other stakeholders to manage expectations and progress.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of investigation processes, templates and training.

Investigations are critical to this work and can involve sensitive and complex matters. As a member of the ER/WHS team you will lead investigations end to end, produce high quality reports for senior stakeholders and help evolve our investigation practices.

You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant workplace investigation experience in a large professional or corporate environment
  • Experience at Manager level within Talent or HR functions preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce high quality investigation reports.
  • Strong interviewing, questioning and evidence analysis skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive interactions with empathy, discretion and professionalism.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, prioritisation and organisational skills.
