As the Factory Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing all administrative aspects of health and safety (H&S), quality assurance, and environmental compliance within our factory operations. Your primary focus will be on H&S administration, including the management and presentation of risk assessments, standard operating procedures (SOPs), toolbox talks, and other H&S documentation. You will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, while also implementing best practices to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain H&S administrative systems, including risk assessments, SOPs, and toolbox talks.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate training sessions and workshops to educate employees on H&S protocols and procedures.
  • Assist in the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to H&S, quality, and environmental compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Keep on top of changes in relevant legislation and industry best practices and recommend updates to policies and procedures as needed.
  • Support the implementation of quality assurance processes and procedures to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in environmental compliance efforts, including waste management, pollution prevention, and sustainability initiatives.
