Summary Of The Role
Good governance helps us make sound decisions, manage risk and keep our focus on what matters to students. As our Governance, Compliance, and Risk Manager, you’ll help NUSU put this into practice across a varied, student-led charity.
Working closely with the CEO, trustees and colleagues across NUSU, you’ll develop clear, practical ways of working that support effective governance and compliance. Your remit will span Board and committee support, risk management, policies and complaints, helping colleagues understand their responsibilities and turn requirements into everyday practice.

This is a role with scope to improve how an organisation works. You’ll build relationships across our services and with the University, combining attention to detail with the judgement to navigate complex issues and make clear recommendations.
