Overview

Your experience investigating economic crime and managing regulatory compliance maps straight onto this role.

About this role

At UK Export Finance, our mission is to help UK exporters access opportunities across the globe. To do this successfully, we must ensure that financial crime risks are effectively identified, understood, and managed.

We're looking for a Financial Crime Compliance Manager (Non-Transactional) to play a critical role in developing and embedding our Financial Crime Compliance framework. Working as part of a specialist team, you'll help shape policies and procedures, support the delivery of the annual Financial Crime Risk Assessment, contribute to assurance reviews, and help ensure colleagues across the organisation have the knowledge and skills needed to manage financial crime risks effectively.

The role offers significant variety and influence. One day you could be supporting senior stakeholders with policy advice, and the next delivering training, analysing risk trends, engaging with industry partners, or representing UKEF in discussions with government bodies and other Export Credit Agencies.

If you're passionate about financial crime compliance and want to play a visible role in protecting a major government institution from emerging threats, this could be the opportunity for you.

✅ Shape policy and strategy

✅ Drive risk assessment and assurance activity

✅ Influence stakeholders across government and industry

✅ Support UKEF's transition to a more intelligence-led operating model

✅ Help build a strong culture of financial crime awareness
