What We Offer

Joining Joybuy means becoming part of a business where people, innovation, and impact work together to shape the future of cross-border e-commerce. You’ll contribute to smart supply chains, efficient logistics, and meaningful projects that drive real customer value. With a competitive salary, great office locations, and a supportive, people-first culture, you’ll have the space to grow your career, learn from talented colleagues, and make a genuine impact in a fast-expanding international business.

About The Team

You’ll be joining the Joybuy team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

We are seeking a data-driven and analytical Payment Operations & Risk Analyst to monitor, optimize, and protect our global payment ecosystem. In this role, you will be the frontline investigator tracking payment performance, mitigating fraud, and identifying areas to improve cost efficiency. You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Risk teams, translating complex transaction data into actionable improvements that safeguard company funds and enhance customer experience. If you love solving data puzzles, mapping out technical user journeys, and supporting international scaling, this role is for you.

What you will do

Optimize Fund Security: Maintain and improve risk control mechanisms to safeguard funds while supporting scalable business growth.

Monitor Channel Performance: Audit daily performance metrics—including success rates, latency, and chargeback rates—across multiple payment channels to quickly flag and diagnose anomalies.

Deliver Operational Insights: Prepare regular payment operations reports, analyze abnormal transaction data trends, and help drive optimization initiatives through execution.

Map User Journeys: Coordinate with Payments Technology teams to review the end-to-end journey (initiation to settlement) and pinpoint friction like failures or settlement delays.

Support Process Improvements: Work with Product and Engineering teams to provide the data insights needed to design and implement payment flow enhancements.

Mitigate Fraud & Abuse: Spot and analyze abnormal transaction behaviors—including fraud patterns, system abuse, or cash-out activities—and assist Risk teams in refining detection rules.

  • Maintain KPI Frameworks: Track and manage our core payment KPI dashboard, covering transaction volumes, success rates, channel costs, and risk performance to maximize efficiency.

Support Strategic Initiatives: Provide analytical and coordination support for key payment projects, including new payment method onboarding, cross-border setups, and system upgrades.

About you

Experience: 2-5 years of experience in payment operations, data analytics, fraud risk management, or a closely related role within fintech or e-commerce.

  • Payment Knowledge: Solid understanding of the fundamental payment lifecycle, including gateways, acquiring, card schemes, chargebacks, and settlements.
  • Data Proficiency: Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience querying and visualizing transaction data (using SQL, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI).
  • Risk Awareness: Familiarity with online fraud detection concepts, chargeback processes, and risk mitigation tools (e.g., 3D Secure, risk scoring).
  • Cross-Border Exposure: Basic understanding of multi-currency transactions, international payment processing, or alternative payment methods (APMs) is a plus.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Ability to clearly communicate technical findings to cross-functional teams, including engineering, risk, and product managers.
  • Detail-Oriented Problem Solver: A proactive mindset with an eye for detail, capable of spotting a subtle trend shift in large datasets before it becomes a widespread issue.

At Joybuy, we’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive. We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer and make all employment decisions without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
