About this role

We are currently looking for an experienced professional, skilled in Quality Control (QC), to join an investment banking client of ours' KYC team. The role is based in Central London and you will be working on a hybrid basis.

Responsibilities

  • Perform QC reviews for the client's KYC team, ensuring files meet regulatory, policy and global control standards across jurisdictions
  • Review periodic review work completed by an offshore team, tracking progress throughout
  • Drive consistency in quality control practices across the KYC function
  • Identify control gaps, trends and risk issues through QC reviews
  • Work closely with onboarding and client lifecycle systems, data, and process flows
  • Manage relationships with multiple stakeholders, communicating findings and issues clearly

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Quality Control role
  • Background in KYC within an investment banking environment
  • Strong knowledge of KYC/CDD frameworks, with familiarity with sanctions screening, PEP classifications, and EDD (enhanced due diligence)
  • Previous experience dealing with periodic review and tracking progress
  • Familiarity working with offshore teams is ideal, but not a must
  • Strong data skills
  • Excellent communicator, able to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders
