About this role

Are you a Risk & Compliance professional looking for your next challenge in a dynamic, fast paced environment? We're looking for a Risk & Compliance Analyst to join our growing firm.

What will I be doing

  • Obtaining and analysing all necessary documentation for KYC/AML/CDD and sanctions.
  • Carrying out CDD and screening for PEPs and sanctions
  • Keeping records of measures applied to each client matter.
  • Responding to KYC, AML/CDD and sanctions queries.
  • Evaluating new and existing clients to understand the nature of the business, ownership structure and associated risks.
  • Obtaining and analysing information on beneficial ownership.
  • Carrying out enhanced due diligence checks and escalating complex/high-risk KYC issues.
  • Investigating negative media/news findings.
  • Advising our fee earners on AML and sanctions policy requirements.
  • Assisting with training new employees on our firm's processes and procedures.

You'll have

  • Previous experience in KYC/AML/CDD and sanctions and you'll be keen to further your career in compliance.
  • Ideally compliance experience gained within a law firm.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem solving skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent IT Skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
