  • Monitor performance, compliance, and service delivery outcomes.
  • Support procurement, onboarding, and governance of security partners.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Develop meaningful security metrics and reporting frameworks.
  • Track and analyse security performance across projects and operations.
  • Deliver executive-level reporting and strategic insights.

Audit & Continuous Improvement

  • Support internal and external audits.

  • Capture lessons learned and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Cybersecurity Coordination

  • Partner with cybersecurity teams to ensure an integrated approach to physical and cyber security risks.
  • Support the implementation of security strategies that address evolving threats.

External Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact with law enforcement, government agencies, regulators, and external security stakeholders.
  • Establish clear engagement and incident escalation protocols.

About You

You are a collaborative and influential security leader with a strong governance mindset and the ability to operate effectively across complex project environments.

You will bring

  • Proven experience developing and implementing security governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
  • Strong knowledge of security risk management principles and assurance processes.
  • Demonstrated experience managing security providers and contractor compliance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong communication and executive reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to influence outcomes across multiple business functions and project teams.
  • Understanding of the interaction between physical security and cybersecurity environments.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Criminology, Business, Defence Studies, Law Enforcement, or a related discipline.
  • Experience within infrastructure, construction, resources, defence, or major project environments.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in security management, with a strong focus on governance, risk, compliance, and assurance.
  • Experience developing and implementing security frameworks across complex organisations or multi-site operations.
  • Experience conducting security risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
